**Job Description:**


**Position Overview**


The main objective of the position and the impact of the role is developing the Active Workspace product which requires knowledge of full stack architecture. Primary focus remains on integrating with the Teamcenter server, which includes implementing new SOA operations and fixing issues in existing SOA operations in the Active Workspace template for Teamcenter. As a Teamcenter server-side developer, must have knowledge of Teamcenter configuration and customization using the BMIDE application. Secondary focus is with the client side implementing new features and fixing bugs with web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. The team is very experienced with the majority of the nine team members at the senior level or above.


**Responsibilities**


+ Perform Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery.

+ Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism.

+ Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems.

+ Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts. Acts as Technical lead of major projects within one area of a product.

+ Frequently consults with customers in regard to future upgrades and products.

+ Influences the technical direction for one area of a product.

+ Promotes innovation through the ability to introduce new technology/knowledge into at least one area of a product and to our people.

+ Provides high-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis.

+ Provide problem resolution and technical leadership for the group.

+ Possesses broad knowledge of internal operating systems, applications implications and customer areas. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers.

+ Works without supervision on highly complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise. Extensive knowledge of the field.


**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**


+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field

+ 7+years of experience in one or more Object oriented programming language such as C++ or Java Strong knowledge of client-server architecture and development

+ Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) development and debugging techniques is required

+ Design and development experience using Visual studio or Eclipse or other IDEs is required.

+ Ability to work in a team environment and be willing to do what is needed for the success of the team

+ Proven ability to collaborate across multiple development organizations

+ Understanding of the issues related to object oriented design and design patterns

+ Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems

+ Works with minimal supervision on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment

+ Able to guide, direct, and mentor other team members and work well in a small team collaborative development environment

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills


**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**


+ 3+ years of experience in one or more PLM Products or tools (CAD/CAM,PDM, Digital Manufacturing) is preferred

+ 2+ year of experience in Agile process and methodology is required

+ 2+ year of experience in one or more of technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Native web technologies such as Angular JS

+ Prior experience in developing or customizing applications on Teamcenter PLM platform.
